4 bedroom, 3 bath, pool, dock, pool bar, outdoor living room (lanai) with fireplace, 6 flat-screen televisions, and more. Villa Lagoon is Florida at its best. Sophisticated and stylish, this gorgeous home has it all. It's truly "home away from home." The kitchen has all the extras that you'll possibly need to make your stay most enjoyable and convenient. Newly decorated in a contemporary look with a tropical flair, the home is located on the 'Spreader' canal, which is the large canal that runs along the western perimeter of Cape Coral. Across the canal, your 'backyard' is the Matlacha Wildlife Preserve. You will not be looking across the canal at other homes, instead you'll be looking at Florida as it was decades ago; beautiful, natural and abundant in bird life. Manatee, dolphins, turtles, alligators can be frequently spotted swimming in the canal. Wild pigs and black bears have also been spotted across the canal along the shoreline. You will enjoy breathtaking sunsets every night from the privacy of your pool and outdoor living room. Enjoy an evening of total relaxation in front of the outdoor fireplace. Prepare dinner in your outdoor kitchen complete with top of the line appliances and granite countertops.
The large open floor plan with the vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans provide a open and airy feeling. The living room offers a 45' LCD/HD flat-screen TV. The living room is a perfect place to curl up with a book, or use the wireless high-speed internet service to surf the web on your laptop. You can even enjoy the piano for added entertainment. There is a separate formal dining room for those special evenings dinners. The fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar and dining nook which also has a view of the pool area and beautiful nature preserves of Matlacha.
This is a 4 bedroom and 3 bath home can sleeps up to 8 people comfortably. Three bedrooms and two baths are located on the south side of the house, and the master bedroom is on the opposite side. Master bedroom provides views and access to the patio/pool area, and it's own private bathroom suite, and walk-in closet. The master bedroom does have privacy curtains on the French doors leading out to the kitchen area. All bedrooms are equipped with televisions. There is an additional extra guest fee for more than 4 guests ($25.00 per person, per night).
The outside screened-in lanai area is a perfect place to entertain day or night. It offers an outdoor kitchen with built-in grill, mini refrigerator, wet bar, and a beautiful heated pool to relax or swim laps in. The outdoor 'living room' area offers a gas-burning fireplace and is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine on those cooler Florida nights.
The private dock also provides for extra seating. It contains a patio table, chairs, umbrella. There's plenty of room to enjoy fishing right off the dock.
We also have a high chair and a pack-n-play (playpen/sleeper) for infants, located in the middle bedroom closet.
We no longer rent out the boat to our guests.
