Hidden inside the home is the Skyline Speakeasy — a private, intimate lounge tucked away for late-night conversation, cocktails, games, or simply stepping into something different for an evening. Guests find it only after they book. (Yes, we tell you where.) It’s one of the features our guests talk about most — and one of the reasons you won’t want a short stay here.

A note on length of stay: Skyline Retreat is at its best over two or more nights — long enough for a slow second morning on the deck, a proper trip down the Nelson 151 trail, and an evening in the Speakeasy. Most guests tell us they wish they’d stayed longer.
A car is required. Roads are paved all the way up, but AWD or 4WD is recommended during winter.
Most wineries, breweries, hiking trails, and restaurants are within a 10–20 minute drive. On-site parking is available for every guest.
If you’d rather not drive, private wine-tour transportation is available locally — we’re happy to share trusted providers once you book.
