Our spotlessly clean, all season cottage comfortably accommodates a family or friend group of four. Unplug on a beautiful, wooded acre with nearby public lake access, this cozy, two bedroom home is just the place for a fun, relaxing get-away any season of the year. The great room with vaulted pine ceiling is a perfect place to gather to play games or watch a DVD after a day skiing the trails or swimming at the beach. Easily access Lake Michigan beaches and all the fun of Silver Lake sand dunes. A public access deck to Pentwater Lake is across the street down a hill along a short path through the woods. This charming cottage is located in a wooded neighborhood of lovely lake homes. A back patio area umbrella table provides a wonderful spot for family meals. This is a great location for watching the deer, fox, eagles over head, and owls at sunset. A half mile walk or short drive takes you to Chester Street Park and access to miles of Lake Michigan beach, perfect for an evening sunset walk along the shore, or head to Mears state beach to set up for a day of swimming, sunning and sand games.
Easy lake access for kayaking or swimming is just across the street and down a path through woods, or there is a public boat launch 1/4 mile down the road. Although the garage area is not accessible to guests there is plenty of driveway parking for two cars, a boat or snow mobiles.
Basketball hoop, fire ring, board games: we've thought of it all! Hike out the back woods to access miles of ski/ bike trail on public lands. Come enjoy Michigan’s beauty all year around! With AC for summer and pellet stove and furnace for winter Pentwater Chalet-by-the-Lakes is a cozy and comfortable year around retreat.
